Punjab Govt. revised the Special pay for Private Secretaries and Assistants of the Punjab Government excluding the Private Secretaries and Assistants working in higher grades in some institutions. These secretaries working with Ministers, Chief Ministers, Chairmen’s and P&D Boards.

Subject: REVISION IN SPECIAL PAY OF PRIVATE SECRETARY AND PERSONAL ASSISTANT:

Sir,

I am directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that Governor Punjab has been pleased to revise the rates of Special Pay admissible to Private Secretaries and Personal Assistants of the Punjab Government excluding the Private Secretaries and Personal Assistants serving in higher grade in some institutions, i.e., Punjab Public Service Commission and Lahore High Court, w.e.f. 01.07.2015 as under:

Description	Existing_____ Rs.800/- p.m.	Revised Rs.1,6001- p.m.
Private Secretaries to Ministers, ChiefSecretary, Chairman, P&D Board and ACS	Existing_____ Rs.800/- p.m.	Revised Rs.1,6001- p.m.
Private Secretaries to Secretaries, Additional Secretaries or any other officer of lower rank	Rs.600/- p.m.	Rs.1,2001- p.m.
Personal Assistants to Ministers	Rs.400/- p.m.	Rs.800/- p.m.
Personal Assistants to Chief Secretary, ACS, Secretaries, Additional Secretaries or any other officer of lower rank	Rs.320/- p.m.	Rs.640/- p.m.
